Eco Parenting

eco conscious parents, do you ever get “green fatigue?”?

We try to recycle everything and my husband is really into composting. We try to conserve a lot of other ways as well. But, we are both not the most organized or especially good housekeepers. Sometimes I just want to say f*** it and just throw everything in the trash instead of seperating into recycling/compost/ having piles of empty cans/glass/newspaper to contend with.
Of course I won’t but do you ever feel this way too??

Well about the best we do in our house is recycle (other than only washing towels once a week) and our city doesn’t collect recycling, so once our storage area fills up we have to take it to the dump ourselves.

My mom took it last time and was having a hard time lifting the bag of glass recyclables and *wham* the door to the dumpster slammed right down onto her head. Talk about discouragement…

Hang it there- we pass this world onto the next generation!
